These grants are intended to foster the use of evidence-informed and community-based suicide prevention strategies.

Using focused, safe, positive, and community specific messaging, combined with stories from youth with suicide-centered lived experience, the campaign seeks to increase awareness and use of resources, services, and supports, while offering hope to those who need it most.

Recognizing the critical role of the media in shaping public perception, the PRDoH proactively monitors local media, as well as social media platforms, to identify harmful reporting practices and provide constructive feedback. By the end of that year, it had garnered over million overall campaign views.
